About

Chris was a founding partner of Lombardi, Loper & Conant, LLP, formed on September 1, 1999, serving as a partner until January 1, 2007, then as Of Counsel to the firm. Prior to that, he was a partner at the former Oakland law firm of Hardin, Cook, Loper, Engel & Bergez.

Chris has mediated in excess of 5000 cases and has served as an arbitrator in excess of 500 cases. He has dispute resolution experience in personal injury; products liability; premises liability; employment matters; uninsured and underinsured motorist; insurance disputes; legal malpractice; medical malpractice; broker errors & omissions; real estate matters; business and breach of contract matters; construction disputes; government tort liability; consumer protection/”lemon law” matters; environmental issues; landlord-tenant; and security and police cases.

In past years, Chris served as a panelist for the Alameda and Contra Costa Superior Courts’ arbitration and mediation services, including the Alameda Superior Court Early Disposition Program and SETL program; Contra Costa Superior Court EASE program; the San Francisco Superior Court Pre-Arbitration Settlement Conference Program; and the Alameda County Bar Association ADR program.
